I was very pleased to have been part of Camille and Danny’s engagement shoot and honestly, their personal lives as well. I first met these two, when they enlisted my services for personal shopping for the shoot.  Spending hours with Camille didn’t feel like work at all. It was as if I was out shopping with a friend! I came home that day feeling so buoyant and giddy!

The theme for their shoot was Siècle des Lumieres (age of enlightenment) and Modern Marie Antoinette. It was such a wonderful period to draw inspiration from that I wanted to do it much justice. It was also so close to my personal style, fluff and frou frou all the way that I enjoyed myself thoroughly. For Camille's styling I stuck with pastels and played with different romantic textures and skirt shapes to channel the style of that era. As for Danny, it was Camille's special request to dress him up ala John Lloyd style! HAHA I am so happy Danny allowed us to put him in pastels too!

On the day of the shoot, upon arriving at the venue we experienced a surge of strong winds and a start of a downpour! This only lasted for about 5 minutes and the sun was out again. It was as if the heavens were on our side. Our photographer, Ms. Jaja Samaniego was also our lucky charm. She is apparently known for never being rained on at events!!! Our shoot was such a breeze thanks to her awesome direction and we were done in record time. However what made it truly special, was us ending the shoot to calls and messages announcing that Camille passed her board exams! We all exchanged hugs and tears!
